Tooth Colored Filling

Tooth-colored fillings are made from durable plastics called composite resins. Similar in color and texture to natural teeth, the fillings are less noticeable, and much more attractive, than other types of fillings.

Porcelain Veneers

The appearance of malformed or broken teeth can be amazingly improved by attaching a veneer made of porcelain or a composite material. This technique can dramatically change the shape and color of your teeth. Veneers are thin covers that slide over your teeth and are firmly bonded in place using a special dental bonding agent. They can easily correct problems such as stained, chipped, and cracked teeth, and can even be used to correct some misalignments and close gaps. Veneers are often called "instant orthodontics" for this reason.

Teeth Whitening

Teeth naturally darken over time, and some foods and beverages contribute to surface staining. If you’d like to refresh your smile and boost your self-confidence, consider professional teeth whitening. Lake Villa Dental offers two ways to lighten teeth. One is In-Office Teeth Whitening and other is Take-Home Teeth Whitening. Call us today for more details and book your appointment for teeth whitening.

Bonding

Dental bonding is a procedure in which a tooth-colored resin material (a durable plastic material) is applied and hardened with a special light, which ultimately "bonds" the material to the tooth to restore or improve person's smile. The material used in dental bonding is referred to as resin, which is really a plastic material that matches the person's tooth color as closely as possible.

Invisalign

Invisalign is a series of custom, acrylic aligners that gradually reposition teeth. The aligners are created at a dental laboratory based on your unique needs. Each week, you’ll throw out the old aligner and "graduate" to the next one in the series. The aligners are transparent and virtually impossible to detect. With Invisalign, the average treatment time is 12 to 18 months.
